Glock 27 Review - The compact handgun for concealed carry is one of the fastest growing handguns. Basically a scaled-down replica of a full-size semi-automatic handgun, subcompacts have all the features of a larger gun but in a unique package. The Glock 27 is a type of pistol chambered in .40 Smith & Wesson.
The original Glock 17, a 9-mm full-size pistol designed for the Austrian Army, has since developed a number of pistols for almost any purpose. Over the past four decades, Glock has introduced competitive full-size, compact, and subcompact models that emphasize practicality, eschew innovation, and stick to firearms and calibers that place value over substance. Combined with absolute reliability, it's clear why Glock has captured a large portion of the global police and military market – including a large share of the law enforcement market across the United States.
Glock 27 Review
Smith and Wesson developed the .40 caliber after the infamous 1986 Miami shootout, in which Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) agents were killed and five armed criminals were wounded. The FBI looked around for a more powerful revolver, and after a while, came up with the 10mm Norma revolver, later calibrated to the .40 Smith & Wesson as the standard pistol caliber.

FBI approval of any handgun and caliber is strictly enforced by the American law enforcement community. Today, the .40 Smith & Wesson has a 70 percent market share among US law enforcement agencies. At the same time, Glock pistols were very successful in police departments, thanks to a combination of a reputation for reliability, accuracy, and aggressive marketing. As a result, the most popular Glock for law enforcement is the Glock 22, for all intents and purposes the original G17 chambered in .40 Smith & Wesson.
The best Glock 22 is not a small pistol. Designed for the military and police, it is designed to be carried in public by the military and police, while carrying a gun is a symbol of authority. At eight inches long and five and a half inches long, 34 ounces and a full magazine, the Glock 22 is difficult for the average person to conceal.
Law enforcement's adoption of the Glock 22 necessitated the company's release of all kinds of subcompacts. This type of small pistol in the same caliber can be very useful for secret service personnel as a special weapon or as a backup gun anytime, anywhere. A smaller version of a police or sheriff's service firearm is ideal, reducing the need for training and immediate support.
The Glock 27 is that gun. The Glock 27 is a scaled-down version of the Glock 22 and uses the same ammunition as a larger pistol. Anyone trained to use a Glock 22—or any Glock for that matter—can be up to speed on a Glock 27 in minutes. Loading, chambering, firing and jam clearing procedures are the same as the loading procedure.
Pocket Holster, Wallet Style For Full Concealment
The Glock 27 has an overall length of 6.5 inches, which is more than an inch and a half shorter than the Glock 22. It's only 4.17 inches long, about an inch shorter than a full-size gun. He weighs a full half pound less than his older brother. A column magazine with nine rounds is commonly used, making it as wide as the Glock 17 and Glock 22. On the other hand, if the outgoing magazine is not a print, it can also use 10 , 15 , and 16 . 13, 14 and 22 rounds.
The Glock 27 serves a practical purpose, providing compact firepower to those who need it in a simple and reliable package. Although it doesn't have the magazine capacity of a large gun, it can easily go where other guns can't. For those who want such a gun in their caliber, the Glock 27 fits the bill.
, The Battle Is Exhausting at The Daily Beast. In 2009, he co-hosted the Japan Security and Defense Security Blog. I am .40S&W; It's really snappy and torquey in the wrist, it doesn't do what the 9mm can't do in terms of ballistics, and it's prone to malfunctions, mainly in Glocks. Same shot, I love it. It's an incredible little package for everyday carry, I want to get a G26, but it's a big deal I can't pass up. I may purchase a 9mm conversion barrel and parts for the gun and some magazines in the near future. Anyway, despite the many disappointments, this place is getting surprisingly good reviews.
So I'm now a fan of sub-compact Glocks; They're good, I feel good sometimes, I forget I'm carrying it (not really) and I can easily get in my car and it won't ruin me, or a colonoscopy. The grip of the gun is generally good, which is surprising given the short, short barrel. I can shoot well with little effort. It does a great job for what it is, a small, highly concealable gun that can be used effectively at close range.
Glock 27 .40 S&w Pistol, 9 (x2) 10 (x2) & 15 Round Magazines, Pre Owned: Mgw
My first complaint is that without the pinky grip mag extension, the pistol grip is ridiculous and very ineffective as a practical weapon; Yes, you can run it, John Wick kills dudes with a pencil, but is it any good? no The Glock only includes a magazine and an extension, so what?! I ended up buying a Pierce Grip Mag Extender for the second magazine, which gives me an extra 2 rounds for the weak 9 standard bullet range, and I'm not happy with my setup right now. Due to the small size of the gun it is difficult to change the magazine speed and performance. However, some fluid behavior follows.
It's a fun experience if the G27 doesn't work. Well, it works out like four shots out of 300 rounds, but that's still high compared to what I'd expect from a gun. I'll say three of those happened while shooting the .40S&W one-handed, which I've never liked in my personal experience; The other is during standard two-handed shooting, but at the end of my range period, so my little birdie hands are weak from high-caliber forearms and wrists, who knows? For all my pistol shooting I use Sellier & Bellot 180gr FMJ, a solid brand that I have had a lot of experience with in the past. Other than that, the G27 shoots great! Groups accepted at different distances, not my best opinion, but human minutes anyway. The standard OEM sights are great for target acquisition, but I still plan to swap them out for some tritium sights. I would definitely recommend this gun for daily carry, especially in summer or hot environments where warm clothing is available. I thought the gun would be converted to 9mm with a reversible barrel; A nice feature found on almost every Glock in .40S&W is the quick-converting 9mm.
